The imported vessels are made in China of certified lead free porcelain. The spigot is made of PP5 – the highest quality plastic designed to be corrosion resistant. This plastic is also used in beer & wine brewing. The capacity is 2.2 gallons – perfect for drawing up to a gallon of Kombucha a week or 1/2 a gallon every few days. The vessel measures 10″ tall and is 17″ tall on the stand and is 12″ wide.
The fine finish wood stands are imported from China. Easy to construct, they provide 7″ of height to the brewing vessel. The USA made spigot makes dispensing KT by the glass or the bottle a breeze & clean up a snap.

I love my continuous brew kit! It was very easy to setup and very easy to maintain. I get approximately 2 gallons a week, which results in a large money savings! I make all kinds of flavors with dehydrated dry organic fruit: mango, pineapple, cherry, raspberry, blueberry, and ginger. I found that it works best with fruit that is chopped very small for the second ferment. My husband is now drinking kombucha after adding all the fruit flavors.
The continuous brew kit works well for us when we travel. We use almost all of the kombucha and leave the scoby and a little liquid and turn off the heater. It is like a scoby hotel in the crock until we get back.

I am impressed, both with the speed which you got the order out and Fedex for delivering in time for the holiday. I spent good portion of Sunday setting up the ‘jug’ and starting a batch. I am considering getting a stand-alone porcelain brewer to continue this culture. It is easier, less chance of contamination. I first encountered kombucha at my local hydroponic store. The owner gave me a small bottle of homebrewed booch, as well as the original bottle. AS you put it, ‘love at first sip’. Smelled a little funky, but it tasted great. What a boost! I tried making a batch out of it but, as it was lacking the scoby, I do not hold much hope out for it. It seems to be forming a baby scoby at the moment. These organisms are tougher than we think. (or so it seems). I continued searching and found your site. The continuous brew looks so much easier, less chance of contamination and, as I wrote above, arrived in record time. I am so looking forward to when I can bottle this batch. I even look forward to sampling this as it matures. I used your special blend. I sampled it last night to see what I thought. Perhaps a mistake. 10 pm and all I could think of was to grab another sip of booch. I went to youtube and watched some of your older videos. It is amazing how far you have come and how you have adapted techniques and equipment over the course of the years. I used to brew beer. I homebrewed for 14 years and only quit because I am 60 and lugging 5 gallons of hot wort in a heavy steel pot was becoming a tad much. So, now, IT IS GREAT TO BE BREWING AGAIN!!! This is within my ability to pick up and carry. I can say confidently kombucha has helped me in more ways than one.

It helped so much that I looked into home brewing to save money. I found Hannah online, and although I’ve never tried anyone else’s brewing products, I never will because her stuff is very high quality and easy to use for those of us who don’t want to fuss over complicated processes. I was a little nervous about how mine would taste, but now I can hardly stand to drink any of the store stuff. You really can adjust your brew to taste more sweet or sour, depending on what you want. I started taking some to my massage therapist every week and after a couple of weeks, she texted me one day and said "you’ve ruined us! my kids and I won’t drink any of the store kombucha anymore! You are the kombucha queen!" Now I take more to her every week :). If I have problems or questions, all I have to do is shoot an email to the team and someone gets back to me very quickly. But always browse her online Q&A, because you’ll likely find your answer already there. In a nutshell, if you are thinking about trying this, but are wondering about your investment, then definitely give it a try! I purchased the deluxe package with the ferment friend heater for both my kits. My husband is a CPA and he calculated that at about $4 per bottle (16 oz) in the stores, if I get 8 bottles per brew, then it would take about 10 batches to pay for itself. I did that in about 5 weeks (I drink 3 per day and you’ll be sharing this more than you think once your friends taste it!). SO WORTH IT! I just made my 3rd batch of tea and I am very pleased with how well it is turning out and how easy and thorough the instructions have been to follow. What I didn’t anticipate was how much I would like the additional products like the flavoring and the tea blends themselves. They are high-quality and I will be ordering more from this store. The only mistake I made was in not ordering the heater right off. My first batch didn’t not turn out as well because our house was in the mid-70s, but subsequent batches have been tangy and fuzzy, just like I prefer and it is because our house has been in the upper 70s. I know as the temperatures drop outside, the heater will be necessary.

So far I have flavored my Kombucha with rose hips and ginger, but I actually liked it plain the best! I highly recommend buying this deluxe kit, with the set it and forget it heater, for the newbie Kombucha brewer. You will want for nothing, except maybe another glass of KT!

We bought the Deluxe Package with the Modern Porcelain Crock. It was easy to assemble (we did have to flip around once of the washers to get a good seal). Within 20 days our pH was at 3.0 and every. We pull off a gallon into mason jars every 10 days and add a fresh batch of tea. Our pH gets back to 3.0 10 days later (very consistently). After 2.5 months we were able to pass on some of our Scoby to family and get them started reaping the benefits of KT. The setup and instructional videos have been very helpful as well. This is our first time drinking let alone making KT. I couldn’t imagine it being any easier.

This was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. With commercial kombucha running $3.50-$5 a bottle I figure this kit will pay for itself in about three months. It was really easy to set up and maintain, and it is so much fun trying new flavors. My kids love kombucha and I had been holding back on letting them drink it simply because it is so expensive. Now they can have it whenever they want. About 6 months ago my teenage daughter and I acquired a taste for GT’s kombucha. At nearly $4/bottle I had to find a less expensive way to keep us supplied with KT. I then placed a call to the company, and what a pleasant surprise when Hannah herself answered! She was so very nice…and patient with all of my questions. We discussed what would be best for my needs and lifestyle. Continuous brewing hands down! I opted for the Deluxe package, adding the heat strip w/dimmer, and so happy I did! It arrived with everything I needed to get started. The SCOBY’s were beautiful, the teas have the best aroma and taste, and the dried flavorings are amazing! She even included a small gift…something you just don’t experience much with companies these days.
I’ve been brewing since April 2nd and I have to admit it’s been a very easy journey. I’ve followed Hannah’s instructions, and so far no problems. The one thing I do a little differently is that since I have my own water well (no chlorine, fluoride, etc), I can use ice from my ice maker to cool down the nutrient solution, so no waiting for it to come to room temp. I just add 4 cups of ice to the 4 cups just brewed sweet tea in my gallon pitcher, stir to melt completely then add 8 more cups of cold tap water. Voila!…nutrient solution instantly ready to replenish my brewing vessel after I decant.
After only 2 months of home brewing KT, I have family members and friends tell me my kombucha beats any commercial brand they’ve ever tasted. Even had one friend tell me it’s better than her own homebrew! (she knew nothing about Kombuchakamp.com…but does now 🙂 Thank you Kombucha Momma!…you’re the best!!

This kit literally has everything you need to brew great kombucha tea. I’m on my third brew and I’m still using the tea and ginger that came with the kit. All the ‘little’ things are so helpful! Ph strips, thermometer strips, cloth top, especially the heater! You CANNOT go wrong with this kit. The only disappointment, and it is a very minor one, is that the photo leads you to believe you’ll receive a book and two DVDs. In actuality, all of the media that comes along with this kit are digital. I anticipated the kit arriving so I could start brewing immediately. When I opened the box and didn’t see the instructional DVD or book, I was disappointed. Instead, there was a little card with information and instructions. I had to go to the Kombucha Kamp website, send an e-mail with my item number and await their response with my coupon code. Once I received the coupon code (the turn-around time wasn’t that bad, maybe 1 day), I had to go back to the website, place these virtual items in my shopping cart, and check out. Then I was able to download the book to my computer. That was the frustrating part. All I wanted to do was open the box and get started. Aside from all this, they do insert printed out instructions to get you started, but I’m a nerd and I wanted to read the book first. Anyway, that said, it’s a great product. I wouldn’t change it. The natural colors of the jug and stand go so nicely with my kitchen. I’m super happy. Oh, and the most important thing, my tea tastes GREAT!

I also got the tee cover and the heat strip with dimmer switch. In the upper Midwest climate, the heat strip is a must. While I’m at work, the house temperature goes down to 62 degrees. Without that heat strip, the wait for my yummy kombucha would be weeks! I was afraid at first, (other sites made me scared of awful things happening, mold, etc.) but Kombucha Mama got me hooked with her encouraging cheerful optimism that I could do it! I’ve not had one problem and am now experimenting with adding flavors. My favorite so far is Lavender and Elderberry with Chai seeds. The texture reminds me of bubble tea. The SCOBY’s were very thick, healthy and big! The Special blend is the bomb and the herbal tisanses are top quality. It is simple and easy to do but I like the fact that you don’t have to keep moving the scoby, I believe that helps with unwanted mold or other things that could occur. I was afraid of mold initially but my scoby looks so healthy, no signs of any unwanted gremlins. Also that heating pad seemed to help being we are in a northern climate, it always seems to be on the cool side without that heater. It still grew but at a slow rate.
