Goji Berry Flavor

Goji berries have been used for 6,000 years by herbalists in China, Tibet and India to:

Goji berries are rich in antioxidants, particularly carotenoids such as beta-carotene and zeaxanthin. One of zeaxanthin's key roles is to protect the retina of the eye by absorbing blue light and acting as an antioxidant. Gojis are not as sweet as a raisin and impart a subtle flavor to KT.

I love having the Goji berries available for when I don't have time to slice and dice fresh fruit, etc. It makes a delicious kombucha, by itself, or with other flavors. And you can't beat goji berries for health benefits!

I have always wanted to try Goji berries but didn't want to pay the high price, so when I saw Kombucha Kamp had them for a good price I jumped on it. These are a dried berry that leaves a nice subtle, slightly sweet taste. I like to add a bit of ginger or blueberries.

Goji berries are a favorite flavor addition. I chop them a little more and they are delicious little kombucha flavored candies that provide health benefits too numerous to mention.

I tried these out of curiosity. I love the flavor alone (which is not strong) or with the Green Powder. Go easy on Green Powder or it will over power the Goji berries.

I've used these Goji berries in many of my second fermentation batches and have had great results. The added berry flavor goes well with sliced ginger and left alone for a few days if not longer. High quality berries that goes well with Kombucha Tea. A great source of organic Goji berries.
